QDate - select dates in previous or next month.

Open lanceleefeng opened this issue 6 years ago • 9 comments

Sometimes it's more convenient to allow users to select a date in the previous or next month.

If there is an option to control this behavior, then developers can decide to turn it on or off according to different scenarios.

This was working pre V13. Here is a codepen that was working before: https://codepen.io/pdanpdan/pen/GRoJmLQ

For now, with QDate multiple/ranges features on v13 broke the ability to:

  • display days of previous/next month of the current month
  • not moving to the previous month when a week range is set (for example in the current screenshot if i select the 2 May, the current V13 QDate will move automatically to April, while V12 stay on May and display previous days in grey.)

@tito That was my branch of quasar. Due to using another version of range selection in quasar I wasn't able to fully recover the functionality. I hope I'll be able to do it in the next few days.

We've switched from Element-UI to Quasar 3, and our users keep asking for calendar with previus/next month days

So I give my +1 for this feature

I am just going to say you can do this now with the QCalendar app-extension, if you are not hung up on Material Design: https://qcalendar.netlify.app/developing/qcalendarmonth-minimode/minimode-multi-month-selection

@pdanpdan I know this one is quite old but it looks like you have this feature in one of your branches. Is this still planned for a release sometime soon?
