deviantART redirect issue

It would seem deviantART has changed the code for its thumbnails, as before the script would take the thumbnail and redirect to the full size picture, but now it redirects to a higher quality version of the thumbnail.

Notice how the script updates the URL so the quality is now at 100.

Changing the URL to resolutions above 1280x1683 results in an error.

If the image has a download link enabled, the pop up to that shows up fine.

I suppose the only way to address this would be to take the filename (elastigirl_by_foxyart_illustration_df2idi), use the id to construct the url to the full size picture (fav.me/df2idi) and extract the correct resolution from that. Might be more trouble than it's worth.

This is actually exactly what the script is supposed to do already, but for some reason, as you said, it's not working with the image you provided (or a new update).

I see. I actually went back several versions of the script and none worked, so it's most certainly a change in deviantart's end.

The problems with redirecting deviantart images continue, at the moment the script just hangs not knowing what to do, won't even show the download pop up when the image has download enabled.

EDIT: This is so bizarre, it works sometimes and sometimes it hangs.

These URLs will redirect to this older style URL, but the time it takes for the script to kick in is highly inconsistent. Sometimes the redirect happens on first try, most of the time it will hang and not do anything unless I refresh the tab several times:
