Incompatible with optifine

I understand that the forge version is not as supported as the fabric version, but I think it would be amazing to see the mod be compatible with one of, if not the most popular mods out there optifine. Every time I attempt to run the two mods at once (the forge version of this mod and optifine) the game crashes at startup even if those are the only mods downloaded and I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider fixing this issue.
