Can't parse information from gmail error block

Hello

I'm trying to fetch mail from gmail. I use authenticate conn XOAUTH2 username password with e.g. missing the word Bearer. then receive

*** Exception: 000000:1:1: expecting either "* " or "000000"

I presume this is a gmail error, but can't tell what's going on. Presumably this should parse either way.

What can I do here?
