nbsphinx 0.8.7 breaks our notebook build

What is the current behavior?

Glitches in the doc build that can cause failure in the doc deploy/testing. The #682 was just a (good) band-aid.

Steps to reproduce the problem

This is not consistently repeatable.

What is the expected behavior?

Should work with nbsphinx >0.8.7

Suggested solutions

• [ ] Inspect https://github.com/spatialaudio/nbsphinx/compare/0.8.6...0.8.7
• [ ] determine the change that is causing the notebook verbatim not to build
• [ ] if possible, fix on the qiskit metal side
• [ ] if not possible, notify nbsphinx with a test case and a request for fix, or propose the fix as a contribution

Has not been addressed, there is a limit of nbsphinx version within requirements-dev.txt.
