Quantum Procedural Generation (aka Quantum Rogues)

Open quantumjim opened this issue 5 years ago • 7 comments

Abstract

Use quantum to make content that could be used in a game. This could be terrain, castles, dungeons, backgrounds or pretty much anything!

Description

There are many methods used for classical procedural generation. It's up to us to find new and interesting methods that use quantum computing. The scope could be to do something that uses only currently available technology, such as this terrain generator. It could also be a proof-of-principle for something that uses the kind of algorithms that will be implementable in the future.

Hi everyone ! Is there still some room in here ? I followed some graphics course at EPFL and am interested in procedural generation as well !
