issue while coping an artifact to another preparation

If you have a preparation A with X files/samples, then create a new preparation B with Y files/samples, add a new artifact linking the artifact in A to B - the system does not check that the files are actually compatible so it creates the new artifact. However, as the prep/artifact in B are not matching, other commands will not work because of this discrepancy.

The solution should be that the system should fully check consistency between A/B and be smart to only select the files it requieres while copying.
