Right Joycon not registering

Hi, I'm having a problem where my right Joycon isn't registering properly in JoyMapperSilicon. I've disconnected and reconnected several times but it will only come up as a left Joycon with left buttons with no way to change it. I'm not very code savvy – is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance

It has been happening to me, too. Mine is not a genuine joycon from an unknown company. It works okay with a genuine joycon.

Note: Enjoyable does not have the issue but it does not allow key inputs with modifier.
