Topological editing does not interpolate z-coordinate
What is the bug or the crash?
When polygon feature is split with topological editing on, vertex added to adjacent geometry has z-coordinate with value nan.
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Open attached project
- Set topological editing on
- Split feature with fid=1 so that a vertex in created in feature with fid=2
- Vertex that is created in feature 2 has z-coordinate value nan project.zip

@Koyaani is haven't been fixed recently? or maybe it's a duplicate issue?
@lbartoletti It's hard to say... The problems with z or m coordinates that end up with a nan value are similar... However, there is a possibility that this issue is due to my PR #46357 because I modified the condition that activates or deactivates the interpolation...
This issue can be reproduced in 3.28.4 and 3.30.0 versions.
It seems that this issue can not be reproduced in 3.32.0. If I'm correct #53526 fixes also this one. The fix hasn't been backported to the LTR version.
@ismogis the fix has been backported and exist in 3.28.9 released the 21th of July. Could you test and confirm me that you no longer get the issue with 3.28.9 ?
@troopa81 I tested in 3.28.9 and I didn't get the issue anymore. Thx!
Thank you for testing, good to hear
