Toolbar order and data package completeness indicator

I added 2 tables and validated both successfully. Clicked export and got errors. It then became apparent that the validate function was just for table structure and column properties in the table and did not validate the table or package properties. It made me question the order of the icons on the ribbon. Will a user assume the validate function validates the Table, Provenance and Package properties as it occurs after these options?

I also thought that maybe as an alternative, some kind of visual marker next to the Table, Provenance and Package icons that show if some mandatory fields are not yet filled out, e.g. a red dot, percentage of items still to complete, etc.
