Option to move a torrent with its parent torrent folder
Suggestion
Example: In the Up/Downloads window, you have a TITLE that says Jack.The.Giant.Killer.[1967] - but when you look at the CONTENTS it only shows the BDMV & CERTIFICATE folders.
So if you move it, you are ONLY moving the BDMV & CERTIFICATE folders to the new location, not the PARENT folder. Obviously, not ALL torrents are created like this - many, maybe most, have the Parent folder included - so when you look at the CONTENT section, it shows the PARENT Folder + the other 2.
Use case
Just an option from the SET LOCATION option to INCLUDE the PARENT folder in such cases. Maybe that can be determined by the folder structure, and make it automatic in those cases where CONTENT only shows BDMV, VIDEO_TS, etc. I don't kn, but it would be REAL helpful.
I got a LOT of stuff messed up badly before I noticed this :-(
Thanks!

That should not happen. You are doing something wrong.
When you adding a torrent, make sure your save path does not contain the torrent name. I.e. it should look something like ...\Downloads.
Also ensure that Content layout option is set to Original.
The title of the Torrent and the content of the torrent are two different things. Your example points to a torrent created without a subfolder, it happens. You can: -change things in the content view of the torrent, and add a folder. This is sometimes tricky, check the forum -add a subfolder and move the torrent in it to better structure the folder. But once removed you need to delete the create folder manually.
Yes, exactly. Often I have a collection that I put under a common folder - BUT, a lot of the torrents I get also do not HAVE a PARENT folder created. I realize that I can ADD a PARENT folder with qB (and a lot of these are probably left-overs from uT). It would just be nice to be able to handle them more effectively. Fortunately, I was able to recover what I'd lost (in this case).

Well a builtin option to adopt a parent folder to the torrent will indeed be a nice magical feature. It will feel really luxurious. I say now with LLMs indeed let the torrent client handle much more scenarios with as much automation as possible and be a mercedes.
Let it automatically detect the parent folder and automatically attach it to the torrent without need for the user intervention.
