Notification for already added torrent

Suggestion

qBittorrent: 4.5.2 x64 OS: Windows 10 Version 21H2 (Build 19044.2728) x64 Step

1. I've already added a torrent before but forgot about it
2. Click the magnet link of this torrent again on the browser

Expected behavior: a notification that this torrent is already added Actual behavior: No notification

Didn't you get a "Merge trackers" dialog?

Interesting. I can see this dialog if I enable "Options } Downloads } When adding a torrent } Display torrent content and some options". But I don't want this dialog when downloading a new torrent. Maybe qBittorent can add a notification "Merging fails" if I disable that option

I have the same problem as you vanbang9710 - adding a magnet link for something I am already downloading

But my issue with behavior of qBittorrent in regards to this is quite opposite: I do not want to see this pop-up window for a torrent that "is already in the transfer list". I tried de-selecting

Tool > Options > Downloads > When adding a torrent Saving Management > Display torrent content and some options

and it has worked - but at the cost of not getting the bigger pop-up window with settings for all new / fresh torrents. In other words: I do not want to be constantly asked "to merge trackers from new source" - but continue to be prompted with settings for a totally new addition to the list

But I think there is also another bug related to this: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/18942

I don't think i understand #18942...

@vanbang9710 take a look at Options > Downloads > When duplicate torrent is being added. Let me know if it's not what you're looking for and i'll re-open the issue.

Actually, I don't understand well what it says either, but at the moment there is no problem in GUI with adding trackers to existing torrents. There is a issue for WEBUI, I will post it later.
