Renaming incomplete files removes the .!qB extension

qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorent: 4.5.0 x64 Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 21H2 (OS Build 19044.2251)

What is the problem?

As per title, renaming incomplete files removes the .!qB extension. This behaviour never occurred prior to v4.5.0, you could rename currently downloading, incomplete files and the .!qB would still be retained.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable the "Append .!qB extension to incomplete files" option.
  2. Begin downloading a file.
  3. Rename an incomplete download.
  4. File loses the .!qB extension making it seem like it's fully downloaded.
