What is the problem?
Hi All. Any chance developers can contact Avira? They constantly flag qBittorent as a virus. (Even when I go into settings / Security / Protection Options / Real time protection and 'Exclude Files' 'Exclude Folders' after a short while Avira still flags qBittorent and deletes the program.
I have downloaded qBittorent from official website here https://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php
Hope someone can speak with Avira, get them to change qBittorent being flagged all the time. So annoying having to keep re-installing

If you are using Windows 10 or 11 there is no reason you should use Avira (or pretty much anything else). Nowadays, almost all AV vendors just sell snakeoil, since Microsoft turned Defender into a decent anti-virus. And Windows 10-11 comes with Defender by default.

Hi BallsOfSteel. Yes, Defender is much better now than in years gone by, but it still has is poor in some areas, ie high false positive detection https://www.av-comparatives.org/tests/malware-protection-test-september-2022/ 19 false positives detected,, where as Avira has none on same test. Also, 1% compromised in real world tests here https://www.av-comparatives.org/tests/real-world-protection-test-july-august-2022-factsheet/ Where as Avira is zero,,, this is why I installed Avira
