Been using the software (on Win10, GUI version specifically) a few days now, and have come across various improvements, imo, I'd love to see... ~ When I select Sort and "by path", I kind of want it to reorganize the full list order, but I understand what it's doing. It's sorting by within the groups... and that's fine, but then I should be able to click on the specific Column-name to sort by that criteria. (I like to be able to work on directories as groups, when possible.) ~ I want to be able to specify a directory, and then for any groups that also have a file in that directory, to select the duplicates NOT in that directory. Basically, sometimes, I already have files in the place I want them, and any duplicates elsewhere are easy deletes. It would make it drastically easier to deal with batches of content to sift through. ~ Maybe a text-box that I could type a path, extension, filename, whatever into, and it could filter the displayed results to only show matching criteria would make life a lot easier to tackle. ~ I can only use the space bar if the... non-visible... "selection-cursor" is in the checkbox column. Like, if you click on any other part of a row, Space won't toggle. You need to either have clicked in the checkmark-column, and can then up/down to change selections and space toggle, or you need to use the arrow keys to move the non-visible selection-cursor into the check-box column. Again, it's non-visible, so you can't even tell where in the "grid" you are. ~ The currently selected can get above/below the visible list. The currently selected should leave you enough space to see what the next file or two that's next to be selected. (I want to be able to see upcoming changes in directories). ~ The group-separator rows, can't be selected for selecting full groups, so up/down arrows should just slip those rows. ~ A way to drop items from the list, and a way to mark specific matches as non-matches. Like, I can't right-click and remove items once they're listed as duplicates. Sometimes the software does present false matches, and sometimes I just want to remove items from the list, because I've decided I want/need those duplicates to exist. ~ I can "Save", but don't see a way to Import? I'm not quite sure how that all works, but I'd love to be able to save my current progress so I don't have to reopen and scan from scratch each time. Program/Computer crashes, power outages, etc, aren't uncommon, and I'd love to just save the time and resume, if possible. ~ ~~I'll admit that my RegEx-fu is limited, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to tell it to select all-duplicates within a specific folder and it's subdirectories. Any suggestions there would be appreciated.~~

Sounds like you're talking about 'reference folder' which czkawka already does! If you 'select all', it will not select anything in the reference folder.
