4D overlay navigation

I've been trying to use ITK-SNAP version 4.0.2 to show 4D overlays on top of anatomical feature to display current source density evolution. It seems 4D controls are available only for the main image. I could navigate time points using multi component option in 3.8. Is there no time control for overlay images? It does display the evolution for the voxel under cursor correctly:

I've also tried the nightly version, there is a menu option to reload timeseries as multi component, but it seems to be broken on latest nightly build. Being able to scroll time series of overlays would be useful nevertheless.
