Lora Loader - Unable to select "none"

Open SencneS opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Once you select a LoRA you can't unselect any LoRA, you HAVE to have one in the box... Pretty much all other LoRA loaders have a "none" option at the very top of the select list. Because this one doesn't the only way to have no LoRA's is to use a Bypass or totally deactivate the node.

A small oversight but a very functional flaw in the node. Should be easy to fix, just make the first option in the list, "None"... Then turn the whole node into a bypass at that point.

Just make it a bypass. Adding "None" would be asinine since you already have the tools for it that are built into comfy. Something of which you're asking the dev for would again be pointless. They would too state, just set the node as "bypass" in comfy.

It’s called quality of life improvement.

But hey there is no harm in asking for a QOL the worse that would happen is it gets denied. But apparently for you QOL improvements are so aggravating that you’ll make a complaint about a simple request… smh

You're making it hard on yourself I understand. It's a pity that developers don't waste their time on asinine requests such as this when a feature to do just this is already built into the program itself. I pity you.

You are being too narrow-minded. I don't use this lora loader, but there is obviously a need for a "none" instead of bypass. Bypass can have other uses. You can fast bypass or un-bypass a whole group, and in that case, your lora node would be activated unintentionally when it could be just set to none.
