Unable to add another Speaker to a Proposal
The Scenario: I create a new Proposal[1] and added another Speaker, which is a registered user. When I openned the Proposal, the other Speaker wasn't listed. I tried adding it again (both by Username and by Email) without success.
I can't tell wether the Issue lies on saving or viewing the additional Speaker.
[1] For the record, the ID on production is 43
Hi @alextercete, what was the user you tried adding to the proposal? We're trying to reproduce the bug - others managed to include extra speakers, so more details are appreciated! =)
The user is YHSper. I tried including both "yhsper" and "YHSper", without success (just tried that again now and the problem remains). Actually, the system tells me it updated successfully, but when I open that Proposal again, there are no speakers other than me.
Should the system be autocompleting the username? If I input some random text as the username, it saves as if that user existed. I think this can lead to some confusion.
Well, thanks for the reply! Feel free to ask for extra details that I didn't remember to mention.
EDIT: I tried to register a YHSper user and the system tells me it already exists, so this confirms that I'm inputting a valid username! ;)
Hi @alextercete, I just checked our db and YHSper was added successfully as second speaker to #43.
We'll have a look at the bug you reported and sort it out.
Autocomplete would be a great feature, but our time is too short... If you could help us implementing this feature, the source code is here - just propose a patch ;)
Same problem here. I just reported to @turicas, and he checked the admin interface and told me the second speaker is there. The problem seems to be in the speaker edit view.
Same problem with me, @fernandogrd and @gileno. @fernandogrd submitted a proposal but my name and Gileno's wasn't there. I, apparently, fixed this on a pull request (and tested) but when Fernando tries to add our names again we have the same problem.
