PEP 659 – Specializing Adaptive Interpreter

Please consider PEP 659 – Specializing Adaptive Interpreter https://peps.python.org/pep-659/

It is already implemented, and is up to date according to the author. If approved it should be changed to Standards Track and Final. It didn't actually follow the PEP process, so discussion history -- if it happened -- is hard to find. But it's a good reference on how CPython works now, and it's used in other specifications. And IMO it's a good example of a change that should have gone through the PEP process.
