Hi @nijel

I am curious about the release cycle of the project as well as the date of the next planned release. Can you please share some information on that one?

I would be specifically interested into when the following changes get released: https://github.com/python-social-auth/social-core/commit/98c81ad7f0a8231c1b4b55fe88064d364c8e9c86

There is no defined release cycle. There are a bunch of improvements in the pull requests which would be worth including in the release, just somebody needs to review (and possibly polish these).
