Long delay when .init runs (debugging in VS code only?)
Eel version Tried latest 1.x.x and also tried 0.14.0
Describe the bug When eel.init runs, when I am running through debug in VS code, there is a delay as long as an entire minute before the GUI launches. This does NOT happen when running an exe compiled with pyinstaller
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Debug eel.init in vs code?
Expected behavior GUI loads right away
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: [e.g. iOS] win 10
- Browser [e.g. chrome, safari] chome or EDGE (tried both)
- Version [e.g. 22] various
Additional context Add any other context about the problem here.
After long hiatus I am looking at making some improvements to Eel, and I will look into this
It turns out in my case this was related to an ICO pack in the folder which had thousands of files.
