In order to know the test results clearly by percentage of passed and failed cases.

The idea with the next-gen is that it will be lightweight and easily extensible.

Maybe we should consider supporting a plugin-system of sorts, with these types of extensions.

Closing this as I think this should be accomplished with the pytest_html_results_summary.

Happy to listen to arguments about why I'm wrong.
