I feel that the only interesting part might be the scatterplot as it allows you to interactively explore which point belongs to which location but you can also do that pretty easily yourself. I don't think splot had any linked visualisation with the scatter and a map being linked, no?

The rest is now mostly covered by explore I'd say.
