OpenWrt 22.03 migration from iptables to the nftables

I am currently using openwrt 21 and looking to upgrade to 22 but looks like this package is based on iptables .

Is it possible to have a compatible version for nftables?

The OpenWrt 22.03 series focuses on the migration from iptables based firewall3 to the nftables based firewall4.

It is probably possible. I haven't used OpenWrt for a few years, but patches are welcome!

Well I have just migrated to nlbwmon and it is similar but not lightweight as wrtbwmon.
