Should PyPUG editors have access to this project?

Since this project was originally (now, it also seems to be a general Python project template, I don't know if that has always been the case) designed for the sole purpose of aiding the PyPUG in its guide about distributing packages, I wonder if PyPUG maintainers should be given access to the sample project, e. g. if it should be included in the team's repositories? This might further reduce the maintenance burden.

@pfmoore Could you state your opinion? Thanks!

TBH, I don't have a strong opinion, I'm no longer the owner of this project. Its original role definitely wasn't in support of the PyPUG, as it predates that document (and the document makes recommendations in areas that when I did own the project, I didn't consider to have sufficient consensus to include here). I'm not at all clear what it's formal role is nowadays, so I'll leave it to others to makde decisions about how it should be managed.

Thank you for answering nontheless! Maybe @di can reach a decision here; he seems to be the most active maintainer in these parts.
