No manpage for pipx itself

At least on Arch Linux

man pipx No manual entry for pipx

I can run

pipx -h

but a manpage would be nice.

Came here looking for this. The most convenient behavior would be:

  • pipx man (stdout is a tty) -> Opens man page with the man command
  • pipx man | gz >/path/to/pipx.1.gz -> Creates a man page

You can generate a man page for pipx by running nox -s build_man, but currently it's not included in the installation process.

I’ve never tried this but apparently there is a tool to generate man pages based on argparse. Might be worth a shot!
