Files with commas in name get split in RECORD

My project music21 is moving to hatch, and we're so happy about it! Our previous version had a filename that had a comma in it: music21/corpus/trecento/PMFC_24_7-Gloria Suscipe, trinitas.xml

When installing the source package from pip .tar.gz this error arose:

  WARNING: RECORD line has more than three elements: ['music21/corpus/trecento/PMFC_24_7-Gloria Suscipe', ' trinitas.xml', 'sha256=auOLKHChMQP2UZ_pkxiTG8v8m_o1kO15Ka-fs5KlyF4', '677794']

I suspect that the various parts are put together into one CSV line and then split on commas. It might be a wheel-build problem, but haven't seen it before switching to Hatch.

I've renamed the file, but there may be others that encounter the same problem.
