Feature Request: Allow nested values in Matrix Variable Overrides

In the Matrix variable overrides the values have to be strings. Does something speak against allowing dicts or arrays here?

I'd like to override the pip-compile-args of the hatch-pip-compile plugin, but I need to put an array there.
