[Suggestion] An option to manually changing the order before renaming
First of all: Great Tool!!! I'm "playing around" with Medusa for two days and it looks really promising and I have a suggestion to make. :)
An option to manually changing the order before renaming would be nice! German TV-Shows are often ordered and named as on www.fernsehserien.de. TheTVDB often have a different ordering or are just wrong (wrong names aso).
Like on this screenshot:
In Filebot I can change them manually but it don't scrape as much as metadata as Medusa.
Something like "Drag & Drop" or a Textbox where I can set one episode to 1x05 and the other to 1x06 to get the right renaming would be nice. :)

You mean that the season/episode numbers as released by scene is different as what's used on tvdb?
Yes, and that's often. Another example: In Fairly Odd Parents in TheTVDB there where episodes listed as first in a season but it was the last episode of the previous season and I found many more... On www.fernsehserien.de they have most times the right order. So I check most times there for the correct order and have to edit them by hand. Especially Nickelodeon series are most time in a wrong order at TheTVDB so I scrape them from fs and use Advanced Renamer to make them KODI-like. Medusa then makes a nice job with scraping the Metadata! 👍 :)
In "Der kleine Maulwurf" where some more wrong order but I thought the screenshot shows the problem. :)
In the "Series screen" of a series I found the "Scene Input Box" for every episode but if I change something there nothing happens... I thought it could be the option to change two episodes if they are switched like one to 1x5 and the other to 1x6...
For this there is a mapping service named thexem.info. we use that to map the episode numbering. Soo you might check that out first. If the site has a mapping for your show that's correct. You should enable the scene option for that show
Many thanks for your answers. Well, thexem is for English shows only... Maybe it becomes in handy if i start watching shows in English... ;)
Anyway, the Metadata Scraping is one the best I found so far in Scraper Tools and I tested 15+ of these tools. :) And great that you have a Preview before renaming! Many tools don't have such so a disaster is pre-planned like with TinyMediaManager.
I think you can try to get any show on thexem. Even think thexem dev is German.
