Restart discussion

During this discussion some people pointed out that restarting should not behave as it does right now.

  • Restart should behave like interactive job
  • Restart should be systematic:
    • (@liamhuber) It should require a dictionary that corresponds to the input

Currently I have to admit I don't perfectly see how these points fit the current format, but I guess it's still worth continuing the discussion.
