MacOS Exported Fits aren't being saved

MacOS 10.15.6 Catalina, Homebrew, Pyfa release v2.37.0

After allowing the unsigned App to run, everything seems to be working fine and I'm able to access my character through the ESI API. However, when I attempt to export a fitting to my filesystem, in a folder under Documents or a custom folder under my user, nothing happens when I press and the file is not written. Normally I would expect MacOS to alert me that the App wants access to a folder, but this isn't happening. However, when I Backup All Fittings, the file is written correctly.

Has anyone else encountered this?

(Updated to note that Backup All Fittings works fine.)
