Version switcher extends beyond the page when there are a lot of items

When there are a lot of items in the version switcher dropdown, the dropdown height extends beyond the page, and the dropdown is not scrollable.

Ideally, there should be a maximum height for the dropdown and it should add scrolling when items in the list exeed this limit.
