I would like to use the jira python module to retrieve development information for an issue.

I would like to be able to access development information as fields / objects / properties on an issue object.

Describe alternatives you've considered

The only alternative I've found is to access the internals of the module, which is hacky: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Answers-Developer-Questions/How-can-I-get-at-development-information-associated-with-an/qaq-p/568400
