Chat dialog acting weirdly
I have to report a new strange behaviour I experienced with pychess [this software clearly doesn't like me!].
If I open the chat window and chat with someone, I have seen that sometimes the text I am writing gets selected for no reason. If this happens when I am typing, the next character deletes all the previous ones.
This happens even if I do nothing, in particular:
- open a chat window
- write something in the line editor, do not send it
- wait long enough
The result is that the text gets selected.
This is fairly annoying, other than very strange.
Reproduced it on Ubuntu 16.04 plasma-desktop. Seems this is KDE specific, because I can't reproduce it on any other DE.
Very well. I acknowledge Plasma 5 has a lot of bugs that will be taken care of, sooner or later... But this is quite strange, because it is related to a GTK library, isn't it?
It happened with me on Xfce last time too. Unfortunately I can't reproduce it again :( At least we can say it's not KDE related. It's really strange because it's a simple Gtk.Entry. We connect to its "key-press-event" to handle "Enter" key press. So I can't imagine how can it go wrong. Curiouser and curiouser...
