The main reason is kernel packaging and time.

Packaging

  • Ubuntu Resolute is not compatible with the current state of the headers. I would need to rework the builddeb/mkdebian scripts and add depends which most people would probably not want on their daily driver.

Time

  • I have already made these adjustments to the Debian Image Builder and don't feel like doing it twice.
