cannot be configured

Fresh canonical HA and HACS install. Clicked trough HACS to download the integration. Cannot be configured, no configuration screen is showing up anywhere. Instructions on integration outdated or integration is broken.

After installation through HACS add the integration through normal Homeassistant integration page. After you've added the integration, the configuration windows pops up. Keep in mind that the integration has various other issues at this time, which nobody is sure how to fix them (see issues below).

I have the same issue, I think: After downloading through HACS, I go to HA to integrations and ... I can't find "Gardena". I don't know how to add the integration (After the download step).

You should find it after you hit the button "Add Integration" on the Homeassistant integrations page. If you can't find it there, try restarting Homeassistant and/or deinstall and reinstall the integration through HACS.

It is a bit odd, I was looking at the HA add integrations page, no integration wouldshow up for gardena. Uninstalled it again. Later I gave it another go, installed via HACS and that time the integration showed up…

In any case, the instructions should be way clearer.

Thanks @IXArcanumXI for insisting :) Yesterday I tried multiple times what you said (in the HA integration page, I restarted HA multiple times, nothing ... (I didn't try reinstall HACS) ). BUT , after you just wrote the comment, I tried one more time now from my mobile phone and it worked immediately !!! So ... either it took more time to HomeAssistant to show the entry in the integration, or, more probably, I need to delete the cashe in my browser at home.

So it worked for me on another device/browser like it was mentioned in the description ! :) (except the new requirement on the husqvarna which wants, now, a "redirect url" which I didn't understand ... )

I didn't understand that either. I enter "asdf" as redirect URL, that worked.

Hi, I have the same issue. Homeassistant running in a docker container under armbian. After installing the HASS Smart Gardena integration via HACS, no login shows UP. I canot enter my application key an application secret.

Home Assistant: 2022.8.4 HACS: 1.26.2 HASS Smart Gardena Intergration: 1.0.0-0b907

Tried to uninstall/install the integration from different sources, without any luck:

  • macOS Montery 12.5: Google Chrome + Safari
  • iPhone IOS 15.6: Safari

Please check!

Thank you

I had to restart completely (OS + HA). Restarting HA only did work for me. After a complete restart the new integration showed up and I could enter the API Keys.

I had a similar issue with other HACS integration package, but having the experience mentioned in my previous comment I tried something and it immediately worked: CTRL+F5 (in chrome) , or ... delete cookies / site settings before refreshing. After that the HA integration immediately showed what I was searching for.

Thanks, this helped me. I do not find Gardena in Integrations in my Edge browser on Windows 11 but Gardena shows up in Integrations in my mobile :)
