Screen Unresponsive after JB - an update
Describe the bug
iPhone 7 would have an unresponsive Touch screen immediately after a successful jailbreak with Unc0ver 5.0.0/5.0.1 however power and home buttons would continue to work, upon rebooting into non JB state everything was fine again. Checkra1n did not introduce this problem.
This was the case initially on iOS 12.4 then I upgraded to iOS 13.5 (first from backup and then from a fresh restore idevicerestore -l -e).
On iOS 12.4 unc0ver 3.8.0b1 worked fine and on both 12.4 and 13.5 checkra1n worked fine.
My battery was in “service” mode (could not read cycles or battery health and my screen was 3rd party with a slight crack, but this was not affecting the operation.
I’ve just had the battery changed and the screen changed In the repair shop and now uncover 5.0.1 works fine (touch screen Doesn’t hang after JB) on iOS 13.5
To reiterate this bug was unique to unc0ver 5.0.x and was not indicative of an otherwise faulty digitiser (although the screen was third party) as it was working with checkra1n on 13.5 and was working with unc0ver 3.8.0b1 on 12.4 and working in a non JB state.
I had tried every combination of resetting all settings and restoring with iTunes, succsssion, idevicerestore Previously.
In summary, there must be a scenario whereby either certain 3rd party screen or 3rd party batteries or batteries that are In the “service” mode are incompatible with unc0ver 5.0.x. I can say this because the only difference between before (phone works not JB, but touch doesn’t work after JB) and now (everything works fine) is having my screeen and battery changed. I tried EVERYTHING from a software perspective before this with no luck.
There are other bug reports of similar problems with the touch screen becoming unresponsive further down the tracker.

Same issue different phone Ios 13.5 on iphone 8 with third party screen. After jailbreak the screen becomes unresponsive with Unc0ver 5.3.1 and 5.0.1
Same problem iPhone 8 13.3.1, Anyone fixed the issue?
Exactly ip7 iOS 14.2
I'm afraid I have the same problem.
iPhone 7, iOS 13.5, unc0ver 6.1.2
Had a third party display and everything worked perfectly. Installed a new third party display yesterday: touch became unresponsive when jailbroken.
Run out of ideas to try and fix it: did anyone succeed in solving the problem?
