Dropping the `ha-catt-fix.js` file into the AppDaemon's `custom_javascript` folder does seem to work.
I suddenly got the same issue on Ubuntu 24.04. The fix solved the issue for me also.
I'm not actively working on this project and have no plans to make the required changes. If you want to provide a pull request, I'm happy to have a look.
