reorganizing puppy core scripts

Open rizalmart opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

This suggest might cause disruptive changes but very useful. I suggest that Puppy core scripts (rc.sysinit, rc.shutdown, rc.services, rc.country, rc.network, sfs_load, eventmgr, resizep.sh, puppy universal installer, remasterpup) to specific location for example

Puppy files in /etc/rc.d/ move to /usr/lib/puppy/etc/rc.d (rc.d folder was used by slackware for storing sysvinit service scripts) Puppy files in /usr/bin and /usr/sbin move to /usr/lib/puppy/bin and /usr/lib/puppy/sbin

The benefit of this reorganization was more easier conversion of other linux distro into puppy.
