Consider unifying query parameters/behaviors (monitoring/timeouts/etc.)

Right now the root query endpoint (and others) support timeouts (cf. wrap-typical-query) and their queries are monitored for disconnections, but that's not true for some of the other endpoints. Consider extending support to the other endpoints.
