Create Announcements Tab to notify students on course changes or other stuff

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It would be helpful to create announcements tab similar to forum, where coach/admin could notify students on something important,, similar on Moodle.

It's an interesting idea. Here are my thoughts.

We could create a customizable notification/email template management system that could be used for:

• Customize content for existing email templates.
• Add more email templates for different events (example: course completed)
• Send custom emails/notification to a selected collection of students
