Can I edit file in the preview with out leaving or closing ranger ?

Hello,

Is there a way to edit file while the file being shown as preview ? Currently if I select file it closes the ranger. Either I have to edit after that or I have to open a file in different wind edit and come back.

Is there a way to toggle to edit the file and then get back to preview mode ?
