Map view for (shared and personal) albums

Problems this feature request addresses

  1. There is no way to view images of an album shared by another person on a map
  2. It is also not possible to show only images from a specific album in the map view. In such a case, e.g. if you want to show images of a travel, there is no way to exclude unrelated images on the map view.

Solution I'd like

It would be wonderful to have an option "Show on map" when you open a (personal or shared) album. The button would open a view that works exactly like the existing map view (which is great, btw!), but it would only include images of that particular album.

For albums of travels, this would make for a nice way to see all places visited during that travel at a glance, especially in combination with #765.

Alternatives I've considered

  • Having images of shared albums included in the main map view would overcome limitation 1, but not 2. See #724 even though map view is not explicitly mentioned there.
  • Filter capabilities for the map view (e.g. a slider to filter by time, see Maps App) could in most cases overcome limitation 2, but may not always work and requires fiddling around with the filter each time

Additional context none

I second this request with my simpler one :

  • please unlock the map view on the public album shares

This would be a great added value for maybe a little effort. I often share trips with my friends, it is disappointing to be the only one seing the map view, especially when they did the trip.

I sponsor the project especially to encourage the development of this feature and the #975 ;) It's not a lot of money, but it's what I can. And I really like how far the app is already and how it's done. The map view of an album would apparently also be possible with Photoprism, but I prefer it if in NC there is a possibility to do it; not anybody has his own server and if Memories had that possibility, this would be perfect and easy to access.
