Limit indexing by folder/location
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Indexing (whether automatic or manual with occ) seems to index all storage for all users. My photos are usually located in specific folders and I don't need/want to index everything. An user can configure the source for the "Timeline" and "Folders" tabs, but I guess it only restrict the views, no the indexing.
Describe the solution you'd like It'd be nice for users to be able to restrict indexing by folders in order to reduce the indexing time.
Describe alternatives you've considered I think indexing will respect the .NOMEDIA file but that means adding those files to multiple folders which gets a bit messy fast I think.
I think for my specific case the second option “Index per-user timeline folders” would work. But maybe having:
- an additional admin options “Index per-user indexable folders” (or something like that)
- an addition user option "Select indexable folders” (with a way to select multiple folders)
And just to be sure: the 2nd and 3rd option still index automatically (once the timeline folder or the relative path is set)?
