Cannot launch gmail from Unity

Hello,

it has nothing todo directly with mailnag, but i figured perhaps someone here uses ubuntu+unity and can help me out.

The docs tell use to use gnome-gmail for launching the gmail.com from the unity panel, but it does not work. gnome-gmail just does not integrate itself with unity so well.

Is there any other way to fix this issue? gnome-gmail just does not show up in the unitys panel.

Hi,

did you install the mailnag-unity-plugin? If so, there should be an "Open Mail Reader" option in Ubuntu's messaging menu. If you click that option and you made gnome-gmail your default email client (somewehere in system -> default applications), gmail should be launched in your webbrowser.
