Too late notification...

Hi there!

I am using mailnag 1.2.1 on xubuntu linux 18.04 x32 on my laptop. It is very good application, but notifications on my desktop comes after 10-12 minutes after arrive last e-mail. Is it possible get notifications on desktop immediately or 1-2 minutes (when e-mail come to gmail web client).

It would seem that you can edit ~/.config/mailnag/mailnag.cfg and change the line in [core] that reads imap_idle_timeout = 10 to control how frequently mailnag checks for new messages . The time is in minutes.

This may not be "the right" way to control how frequently mailnag checks, but it does seem to work. If there is a "proper" way to do it, then hopefully someone will correct me.

Does mailnag not support IMAP IDLE for reduced server load and instant notification?
