Persistent notification above screensaver?

Hi, great work on this project. However, I was wondering if you think it would be possible to have the notification (no message content) display above the gnome 3 screensaver so unlocking the desktop to check for new mail isn't required?

Hi, I have no idea if it is technically possible but I don't have time to implement such a feature anyway. Though I wouldn't mind if somebody would implement it :-D

This is working for me since gnome 3.8. You can probably close this issue.

As of GNOME 3.10 the summary notification mode seems to have stopped working. Only the first notification appears on the locks screen, subsequent notifications are missing. Notifications of the Mailnag gnome-shell extension seem to be working though. I've filed a bugreport here. I'd prefer to leave this issue open for now.
