Connect to different WLANs

Hi,

we have many WLANs here (like guests etc), the >>great<< application Pi.Alert is running on a Pi with wired LAN.

Is there a possibility to scan other networks (WLANs) in the case that I am changing the WLAN via Cron? My Idea is to create a script

1. Change WLAN
2. Scan
3. Change to next WLAN
4. Scan 5....

But if I come to Step 4, the Devices from Step 2 are (works as designed) Offline.

One Idea is to mark them offline if pi alert is in the same Subnet, if not jump over to the next host
