Is there a hotkey for toggling the background board ? If not then that would be a good feature to have.

once, you can set the background to your preference in the options. it will automatically appears when starting and be deleted when exiting. If you want to just toggle it keeping ppink drawing mode active, just use the visible button, or its shortcut.

Is this ok for you? Do not hesitate to star the project

well the way I work is I use the pens to draw on screen, but then continue working with the "Mouse Pointer Tool". This does not toggle the background off. Also at times I want to toggle the background on and off while still keeping the lines there.

To be honest, I have troubles to understand the way you use it. the background is the first drawing. I've sligthly modified to make it visible invisible when shift is depress and you activate the visible button: ppInk shift_visible.zip

I tested the build and yup, that's exactly what I had in mind. If it's not too much to ask ..maybe make it so it can be toggled by a hotkey? At the moment we have to click in the UI to toggle it. But if it's too much work or you don't think it fits your concept of the tool then I'm fine with the current setup. Thanks!

In order to have the Hide/Clear hotkey to work, I had to switch to alt+ this should be OK ppInk_alt_visible.zip
