Image link to i.publiclab.org not working

Images embedded on publiclab.org web pages that link to i.publiclab.org do not work. For an example, please take a look at https://publiclab.org/notes/carolccarvalho/02-18-2016/ndvi-from-pinoir-with-a-blue-filter

The image source is from public/system which is included in the .gitignore file. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not.
It seems the image links are only broken when the host in the URL is i.publiclab.org There are many broken pages
links from Google Cloud Storage are working fine. Also, it appears this repo hasn't been updated in a year.
Are the images that were on i.publiclab.org still available? i.publiclab.org resolves to 35.221.43.27. This server seems to be done. It does not respond to pings and TCP connections to ports 80 and 443. From the IP - this also seems to have been on Google Cloud Storage.
